Privacy policy
Your answers are yours.
Nightingaley is a small project that helps people notice relationship decline early. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can delete it. Last updated 24 October 2026.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, Microsoft, Facebook or an email link, we receive your name, email address and an account ID from that service. We never see or store your password.
When you take the Life Calendar assessment, we save your answers to your account. This includes the names or initials of the people you choose to list, your birth year if you give it, and your answers about wellbeing, time and relationships.
We do not collect your contacts, your location, or anything from your social media accounts. The site uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
Only to show you your report and let you come back and change your answers on any device. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your answers with anyone. If we ever want to use answers in anonymised research, we will ask you first.
Where it is stored
Your account and answers are stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Security rules allow only you, when signed in, to read or change your answers. Your browser also keeps a working copy, which is removed when you sign out.
Deleting your data
Sign in on the assessment or report page and choose Delete my data. This permanently deletes your answers and your Nightingaley account straight away.
If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove Nightingaley in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, then email us to delete your answers. You can also email info@nightingaley.com and we will delete everything within 30 days.
Who it is for
The assessment is meant for adults. Please don't use it if you are under 13.
